What Tuxie’s Wiki is for
The guide site started because the pages I wanted to send friends did not exist.

Most Linux documentation is written for people who already run Linux. Tuxie’s Wiki is for the friend who just installed Fedora on a laptop and wants to know why the webcam light is on, or how to make the touchpad scroll the right way.
The site has more than thirty guides now, written by volunteers. My job is the roadmap: which guides are missing, which are out of date, who is writing what. The style rule is simple. Every page answers one question, in order, with the commands you need and nothing you do not.
If you have a question that the wiki does not answer yet, that is a guide waiting to be written. Send it to me.
