About Eugenio Ng

Economics student at NYU. Builds AI tools for equity research. Born in Manhattan, New York.

Economics student at NYU, born in Manhattan and shaped by seven cities in three countries: New York, Enping, El Tigre, San Félix, Puerto La Cruz, Valencia and Boston. I started in computer science, pivoted to finance, and now build agentic AI tools for equity research as co-founder of TheoryY. I also run Tuxie’s Wiki, a collection of friendly desktop Linux guides.

My parents sent me to Enping, in Guangdong, as a child to learn Chinese and Chinese culture, so that I would keep the family roots. Then came El Tigre and San Félix in Venezuela, two years in New York during the Venezuelan economic crisis, and Puerto La Cruz and Valencia for school.

At NYU I am reading for a BA in Economics on the policy track with a minor in Business Studies, class of 2028. I transferred from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, where I studied finance for a year, to be closer to family. Before that I was valedictorian at Colegio Internacional de Carabobo, where my thesis on the prerequisites for drug decriminalisation scored 99 out of 100.

Summers go to the JDW Center in Valencia, a family tyre distribution group, where I plan systems and rebuild the tools the warehouse runs on. The rest of the year goes to TheoryY and to Tuxie’s Wiki.

Away from a desk: calisthenics, table tennis, a former junior varsity libero, and a stubborn place in the top five thousand of tetr.io Blitz.
